He has this idea that you should never take risks! Always take the safe option. Even if it means that you do things you don't want to do, but you do them for the sake of making everybody else happy. For ensuring the status quo continues.

Usually over something unusual that is occurring that somebody wants me to be part of.
Most of the time he's a good bloke.
