Interesting fact I never knew, and my fiancé' just loves Scooby Doo, I've always loved Casey Kasem, I'll have to tell him that. I remember my dad always liked him, like Dick Clark and George Carlin. He was a voice to be heard on radio and television for as long as I can remember.
There was a story about him on 48 hours mystery about his life and last days and it was heartbreaking to watch as his departure from this world was so very sad and the ugly battle that went on "behind the scenes". He was and always will be a great American Icon...just like Scooby Doo.

@metaldog I have actually never watched Scooby Doo before, but my Finance' has it all on DVD.
I've never even seen one episode of it until I met him.
It was your post about Casey Kasem that made me want to reply, because I was more familiar with him like my fiancé is more familiar to Scooby Doo.
