In an act of good faith, the owners of EP discontinued the website after contact between a murder suspect and the victim had been found going on for some time as evidence.

I heard they had fears of being hacked as the firewall wasn't developed to handle the influx of members they experienced..

I think it was the lack of email verification, at the time they said it was because the country they were based in no longer allowed anonymous users.
