I know. You can't change people. You can only change yourself and if you have been operating in a way that doesn't work maybe you might want to look into maybe looking at things a bit different. I've been there when the friends I thought would be there forever, werent there when I needed them. At it hurt. But then I said . Ok. They were not really my friends. Fuck em ..that was it.
