if a woman coughs loudly around you, is that being over familiar

i've had this happen to me more than a few times...women who are near me in public coughing exageratingly loud..and i interpretted it to be they were being too familiar with me when they don't know me and i don't know them.

i take offence at things like that, what do you think?
