is there anything wrong with being ' stuck in the past'

living in the past? where you believed the times then to be better, for me that would be the 1980s and i even hearken back to way before my time too, to my mothers time in the 50s and 60s, from my mothers accounts and other loved ones, life was much much better in the uk back then and even in my era, the 80s......we had none of the problems associated with now....i really find it hard to cope with this modern society we live now, and all the radical changes that have happened, and the way things to be accelerating forward towards a futuristic future, i can't bear it, so i take a lot of comfort in living in the past and indulging in nostalgia.

I felt that. Times were much better in the 80s. I live there. Nobody understands. I guess they don't see the current world the way I do.
