How do you breathe? W your stomach, or chest?

So you keep your stomach sucked in to keep it flat?

That makes your stomach look that way. You’re keeping your belly tense, and tricking your body to stay in stress mode. Also creating anxiety for you to feel. It’s like you’re tense always.

When you relax your stomach and breathe into your belly, letting it move in and out naturally with your breath, that starts to relax your core muscles. Helping them get stronger and get toned naturally and better.

Lots of women get tricked into holding in their abs, to give the illusion of a flat stomach, but then we carry anxiety, and work the wrong muscles in our bodies long term. I did that my entire young adult years.. @Bluebell1

@Bluebell1 I'd say that's your first problem. Breathe with your diaphragm. I know you don't have any lungs in your abdomen, and so it's tempting to ignore it, but you'll actually find yourself breathing more deeply if you begin by expanding the lower part of your belly.
Are you on medication?

@NativePortlander1970 not at all. Only antibiotics because of my sore throat
