which era would you choose? i'd choose the early to mid 80s for some reason.

I think I would go for the early seventies.
Still good public transport, family life was strong. The music was good too, and so was my love life. A time full of hope, if not ideal.

I concur with you but my main reason is that love the 80s pop and rock music!🤔

Thinking of the eighties…,Life was simpler then. No knife crime. Drink was relatively cheap. No internet, no wine bars. But the music was dull and the comedians poor.
