October 4 wrap up
Before i lay me down to sleep i post this post my post to keep ...
Today i followed through with going deeper into the Nordic Noir from the service Topic, 2 simultaneously, which should take up a lot of time, roughly 80 hours combined.
But there is a teeming bounty i mustn't ignore, open am i now to the idea of streaming movies i've already seen, and
the kind of things you would maybe watch while channel surfing
and the good stuff, for example i sampled out the beginning of John Cassavetes' Husbands, as it's leaving The Criterion Channel at the end of the month. John was a true independent genius, i shall savor Husbands when i'm not so tired.
If i get another subscription it might be the one that has some adult swim content
Kinda wasted the remainder of the day, which is i guess a healthy thing, just wasting time with the investments (streaming services), there's a series on the dark side of the 90's watched about half of the first episode which treats of Jerry Springer. What a time that was when daytime tv could be like that for the first time, the catalyst for it was a Geraldo show that turned violent, when he got his nose broke, and Springer was gonna be cancelled, so they sensationalized it all, and it was only kept because it meant money.
I grew up in the 90's so maybe i need that kind of nostalgic documentation as a cathartic enjoyable thing, catharsis doesn't have to be endured, it can be like reliving a party.
