I Would Go Back In Time If I Could

And do things differently. I would appreciate the things and people I once took for granted. I would of stuck up for myself. Learned to not care what others thought about me and put myself out there rather than hiding in my shell. I would relive some memories twice if I could.Though you live and learn and now I know better. If it wasn't for my past mistakes I wouldn't appreciate what I have now or who I have in my life.

So, what I'd like to say is, it's true that you can't go back. There are no do overs, but the fact that you've learned and moved on and now appreciate your life, is the best anyone can do.

Got to love internet trolls. Sad thing though he was in his 50's so you would think he would know better than to bully others around. Well said..sometimes though I feel guilty about my past mistakes and it makes me feel like I'm a bad person or don't deserve happiness.

@Goldengirl22: we've all made mistakes. We all have guilt. The only thing I have found that works is to promise myself I won't make that same mistake again. And if my mistake hurt someone, I try to make amends, or at least admit it and apologize. Then I move forward. It's all I have. I can't fix the past.
