My tenth grade history teacher asked me personally...what historical period would I want to live in and I said "the eighteenth" and she said that would be awfully uncomfortable...the ladies hadn't invented sanitary pads yet.

I thought I would die of embarrassment.

At least she got a laugh out of me.
