I Would Go Back In Time If I Could
Has anyone ever read or watched "The Outlander?" If you have then you know how ruthless it was in the 1700s to 1800s in Europe and America. But there are so so many factors and parts of their way of life I wish were still a part of today's society. (This next statement is going to be Highly controversial.)
Where the husband was the leader and true Man of the house. And the family followed his guidance. Where a community raised a child. Granted I'm not talking about the methods they used, just the idea of it. And a community protected it's own.
Or to be an American Indian before the discovery of the North America. Where nature was reviered, respected, and a part of every aspect of one's life. You were a part of a tribe. Everyone one took care of each other. Life was simple and you lived by necessity only. Children were taught respect for all life. Especially how to be respectful of others and yourself.
And since I am horse lover, the idea that your mode of transportation was a horse, that's just awesome.
