Weird Fast Food Dream. TW: features aggression, management, and a ventriloquist.
My fiancee and I were at a Wendy's drive thru. She had gotten out of the car to check the trunk for some reason and was yelling what she wanted as I ordered it at the big menu/speaker thing. It was very confusing, which, when you add an ADHD person into the mix, well, you know it's never a dull moment. So I was ordering as she was screaming what she wanted to me.
The man said "Drive up. We can't guarantee your order because you were grocery aggressive ".
What? Wtf is "grocery aggressive"? Is this Seinfeld? A Larry David show? I got mad and decided to go into the building. I'm a fair man. If they play back the video and prove that I was "grocery aggressive", then I'll stand down. But I thought they were out of line.
So before I could locate the right person, I encountered a famous ventriloquist, say like a Jeff Dunham or some such. I knew he was famous, but I could not remember her his name. He kept having conversations with the puppet even as he spoke to me. We were about to snap a picture when my fiancee found someone who wasn't a manager but would direct us to someone who was.
"No, not her....no, not that one...not that one either." I saw that they were all women of color and I thought how racist she seemed....before I realized that she was a woman of color too. I have zero idea what my brain was getting at.
We never got to speak to anyone because I woke up. What the hell? Ha ha.
