I had a long dream last night

I was still with my ex and my kids were still young children. He was still in the military.

He had been gone for a week on a special mission that was finding a way to take an alternate dimension early earth and combine it with the current earth to renew resources and create a sort of reset.

The simulation was successful and now he was going on the real mission with another guy who was a friend of the family.

I was worried because it was still potentially deadly and was the equivalent of going into space. My emotions were all over the place, at one point, crying as I was convincing myself of the logic of the quantim physics math that it should work.

There was a going away party at the place where they were leaving from, which looked like a very futuristic airport. The gifts they got were multiple DVDs of 2001 and the remake of it, other joke DVDs of space travel and such and *tons* of video games. I don't know why I didn't think that was ridiculous because would there be electricty but because they were treating it like a vacation lol

I realized I was doing the traditional military wife process of starting an argument before he left and changed paths upon recognition. But I was still slightly upset.

Once they were put into the tram to take them to the ship, I wanted to leave. People around me thought I was being heartless that I didn't want to stick around till they took off, but I just no longer wanted to be there. I woke up as my sister was telling me I was selfish for not staying.
