Yes…the first dream I had about my mother occurred shortly after her funeral. In the dream I went to my parents’ home, and like many times before, she let me in, but she looked young, vibrant and healthy. She held out her arms, I hugged her and it was so real—I could feel her hair and smell her perfume. I told her, "I miss you !"
She said, "It’s okay…"
Then I woke up. 😞
@bijouxbroussard thats spectacular! 🤗😍

How incredibly connecting. Painful, but beautifully painful.

A lot. I have had dreams about going to places I’d never been to and a couple months later someone would ask me if I wanted to go there and I’d say yes. Would see very similar sites and feel the same way as in the dreams…such as driving through mountains and feeling the same way as in my dreams.

I have nightmares that are so vivid like that where I wake up and have to take a second to realize I am at home
@LilPrincess Mine are sometimes like that too

Yes and when you wake up you have to think for a minute to confirm it was just a dream..
@Primnproper That's very true
GunFinger · F
Oh yes, especially those dreams when I jumped from building to building.😂
@GunFinger Good one

Yes, lately, i believe I've been suffering from psychotic dreams, and even when I'm awake, the dream is still there. I get out of bed and have a drink, etc, and go back to bed and the same dream carries on.
@meggie Wow that is strange
meggie · F
@mindlessdrifter it is from lack of sleep I think.
@meggie Yes that would do it. I do get moments like that sometimes

i had a few where it was raining in my dream and woke up looking for an umbrella before realizing it was a dream.

2 of my 3 cats jump on my chest in the middle of the night and I don't wake up. sometimes i wake up to a furry thing purring on my chest. that captures my attention and I am out of dreamland instantly on those nights.

Yup. Especially sleep paralysis.

yeah my dreams are sometimes pretty vivid. I can colors, can smell in the dream, felt cold or warm. Sometimes I wake up and it takes me 5-10 seconds to realize I was dreaming. Not nightmares or anything just regular dreams.
TheFragile · 46-50, M
Yes, many times. My dreams are very, very vivid. I love those kinds of dreams.
NewBeginnings7790 · 41-45, F
Many, many many times…
Some so real it’s almost hard to decide if it did or didn’t happen
Carissimi · F
So real that I woke up crying.
Musicman · 61-69, M
A few actually.
EPreject · 36-40, F
Yes, I have. And when I wake up and realize it was a dream I feel sad.

But now I wonder, was it really just a dream ? 🤔
Thank you for Bestie. I'll send you some feathers
