Symbolic Dream

I have a sort of recurring dream every now and then that seems to be very symbolic of life struggles. In the dream I’m lying in bed, I just woke up. For some reason or other I really want to get up, but when I tell my body to move it doesn’t. I lie there for minutes continuing to tell my body to get up, then finally it happens. I stand up still feeling tired, I can barely keep my eyes open, and I’m afraid I’ll run into things. With a lot of effort I make my way downstairs, I grab the TV remote, I press the on button, and then I realize…

…It was all an illusion, I actually haven’t moved an inch from my bed where I started. All that hard work I thought I did to get to the living room meant nothing.
