Vivid dream, is it❓I think, it isn't❗
Lately, I am dreaming a pattern. I am trying to discern how my mind is projecting such dreams and the reason behind it.
I often see myself in locations I have never been to.
Last night, I saw this:
I opened my eyes. I was in a Doctor's room. I saw the stretchers and surgical instruments that Medical Professionals used in 40's & 50's. It was total dark there. I could barely see light in any room. Vegetation had taken over some rooms. I managed to find an old lamp and match stick next to it. I lit the lamp and saw Newspaper cuttings on the wall from 30's, 40's and 50's. Newspaper articles were in Russian language. I explored the place and finally saw a broken window pane. I saw moonlight. I rushed towards it and noticed that I was in the middle of a snow covered mountain. No signs of life around me. I quickly started looking for a way out. The place was a maze and I could not find a way out. I collected dairies (for clues) that I saw in different rooms. I even saw radio transmitters and equipment from WW2 in some rooms. None of them were functional. After hours of search, I discovered a hidden passage in one of the rooms and it opened into a cave. I proceeded and saw it was actually a mine. I saw mine cart and a rail track. I followed it and finally came out of the cave. I saw another old abandoned building and it had the Soviet symbol (Hammer & Sickle) along with Lenin's picture painted over it.
I was in an abandoned Gulag!
Dream ended! How did I get there?
Here's the logic behind it:
Well, I have a great obsession with Soviet Union's history (from Mid 20's - Early 90's). Also, abandoned places that were once under the control of Soviet Forces, vising them is my dream. I wish I could time-travel and see the events from that era myself. I am obsessed with Ancient Egypt but I never saw myself in a Pharoah's tomb. The reason why my mind projects such dreams is because I read history a lot. My brain absorbs it and end result, is the dream.
Or
Am I time-travelling when I am asleep? Is it my Verse? Too much Miles Morales! 😁
