I had a dream that my sister told me she wants to start talking again.

In the dream, I calmly said "me too" and then walked away to cry. I woke up in tears.

Strange because when I'm awake, I mostly just get pissed when I think about it. Not sad.

Maybe you're subconsciously sad about it. There's a saying anger is sad's body guard

@SW-User Anger is the opposite of fear so we draw up anger to stop us being afraid of feeling sad.

Often we hear from our subconscious mind when we sleep. Its important to neither read too much into dreams ( like assuming that all dreams have a great message), but it's also important not to ignore them and try to understand them sometimes.
I believe that God can also speak to us in dreams.
My guess is that some part of you wants to mend that relationship with your sister.
Your anger when you are awake overrides your inner desire.
