I was having another intense nightmare

I remember the last time I was complaining about my nightmares a sw user told me to remind myself that it’s a dream

Well during this specific dream (I keep having horrible nightmares of my son or someone getting murdered or dying right in front of me)

there was a large bottomless body of water and my 3 year old jumps in and drowns right in front of me.

I just thought “this is a dream” and everything started whithering up like a dying flower and then the dream took me somewhere else

Maybe if I can at least recognize that they’re dreams while it’s happening maybe they will stop. There for a while I didn’t even want to go to sleep due to the intensity of the night mares

This happened one other time a tsunami was coming for me and instead of running I let it hit me but as it hit me it turned into a bunch of sparkles and stars and disappeared

When I “defeat” my nightmares it seems like they stop for a while

This is all your subconscious fears, it's nothing to do with reality, so there is nothing to worry, your child is safe, you are safe. And see? You are right in thinking that facing them, stops the nighmares, because it's a way of choosing to stand up to your fears, so congrats for that 👏👏👏
