I used to erase things all the time. Now I leave my posts and replies up. If someone misunderstands, I will attempt to explain myself. If they argue or are rude, I simply ignore them. It gets exhausting trying not to offend anyone when you’re sincerely not trying to be offensive. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@SW-User that, unfortunately, happens online a lot and probably has little if anything to do with what you actually wrote. It's too easy to engage in that stuff from behind a keyboard, especially in a place like this where we're all pseudonymous.

@SW-User It’s most likely that they are not even talking about you/your post. I’ve read some things here that felt very much like a personal attack, but after taking the time needed to think it through, I realized it couldn’t possibly be about me. Worst case scenario, it is about you… unless they’re your friend, what have you lost? Easier said than done, I know, but don’t let it get you down. There are plenty of people here who are worth talking to:)

@SW-User If it’s really bothering you, I think you should ask them directly. Better to know what kind of friend they are now than to assume they are something they aren’t.
