I wonder why some people have bad things happen

To them constantly. Even when they don't deserve it. It's like they would not have any luck if not for bad.

Something horrible happened to someone i know 2 nights ago and I dont know how she made it thru. But she did and she is my new hero.

Being deserving or not isn’t a factor. The real reason is because of making bad and/or unlucky choices. Someone can make smart decisions, and end up being unlucky. Someone can make bad decisions, but somehow manage to get through ugly situations unscathed.

I think being intelligent to foresee and avoid certain situations with a bit of luck, can keep a person out of harm’s way.

We can’t control our luck. What we can do is make calculated decisions, so bad things are less likely to happen to us.
