Like many guys, and probably some women, I have a rather extensive collection of tools... some I use frequently, and others that were more specialized, are not often used tools that have accumulated over the years when I was working on a special project.
Other things have accumulated for one reason or another. Things like survival items/food and first aid supplies because I live in an earthquake zone. Then there are candle-making supplies... way too much because I bought a bunch thinking I might like to make them and sell them on Etsy.
Then there is stuff, one-off items that were bought for this or that reason and I should have gotten rid of them years ago. Someday I will... or not.

@Ontheroad I miss making candles, it's was very satisfying.

@OogieBoogie It is satisfying and great for gifts. Since I have some much stored in box after box, everyone I know has more candles than they could ever use. I had a supply of soap-making supplies, but I didn't go nuts there.
I tend to collect useful things, even if they were only useful once.

@Ontheroad oh I'd love to try making soap - I've never done that🤗

@OogieBoogie It's easier than making candles, but the thing is, how much soap can a person use?

@Ontheroad is it?
true true ....but it makes nice scented bars to put in ones wardrobe 🤗

@OogieBoogie It is quite easy https://www.candlescience.com/soap-making-supplies/
I use wax melts to keep things smelling nice around the house... I just use a bit more of the scent oil than I would for candles, and sit them around.
