There’s a certain kind of weight to ordinary loneliness when you finally allow yourself to stop accepting the scraps from others that once kept a room

from feeling too empty.

I know exactly what you mean.

Hoping you find ways to smile despite it all.

Sometimes the hardest part is realizing that being alone is better than being surrounded by people who only give you pieces of what you deserve. The silence can feel heavy at first, but there’s also something peaceful about no longer settling for scraps just to fill the empty space.

A bottle of water can be $2 at a grocery store, and $6 at a theme park, Same water the only thing that changes is the surrounding. know your worth.

I've found it to be freeing and light.

You’ll find someone. But you have to pay attention or you might miss them.
You don’t have to take any scraps.

I can't help but feel disappointed that it had to go back to loneliness. That people are so unwilling to actually be human to each other, and instead looking for instant gratification at other people's expense.

I'm sure that's exactly where you were going with that, but that is just how I feel when i habe to turn back to loneliness after realizing that, yet again, another person thinks I'm a service machine.
