I know your pain all to well my friend
@Cigarguys it’s hard living like this.

In a normal world. Whatever normal is.

Zonuss · 46-50, M
You're human.
@Zonuss

Thank you, I’m just opening up for people to understand me.
HumanEarth · F
I'm that way with math
@HumanEarth

I knew that lol 😂
TexChik · F
🙋🏻‍♀me too. While I could write and speak clearly, Mathematics was where my dyslexia kicked in. Combine that with PTSD and it makes for a lot of fun. I can not stand to look at sheet music, it drives me batty. And learning spanish (writing it)? Forgedaboutit!
@TexChik I agree with you there, I see things that many don’t.

Which is probably why we see the truth! We don’t see the world like normal people.
TexChik · F
@FaerieDust We have learned to observe more and talk less.
@TexChik 💯 this!
Mindful · 56-60, F
That makes a lot of sense and, you did a beautiful job writing this.

May you keep it up when you feel inspired.

My daughter is dyslexic. She doesn't even like having to read birthday cards.
@Mindful

I struggled for years trying to understand myself.

I’m ok with it now. 😅
Mindful · 56-60, F
@FaerieDust thank you for sharing that! My daughter may feel the same way.
@Mindful to be understood, you’re a good dad.
CurrentName · 51-55, M
No judging here. I can understand you just fine
@CurrentName thank you ☺

Im so sorry. My bfs little sister has this. Writing and reading are major parts of my life. Writing helps my brain think because i have a low inner monolog.
@ScarletWitch I actually love writing. I just struggle putting what I think down what I mean.

So the interference is real.
I don’t judge
@Floki thank you ☺
WillaKissing · 61-69, M
I have dyslexia too, and we have to write proofread and go back and make our corrections as we notice them.
@WillaKissing
I’m always editing words lol 😂

Glad I’m not the only one.
WillaKissing · 61-69, M
@FaerieDust No, you are not the only one.

They say scientifically Dyslexic people have higher I.Q.s and are very creative folk to be able to deal with their visual learning issues. So, that is our blessing for our curse. 🤗
@WillaKissing

I can relate with that!
Afterlife · 70-79, MNew
I'm mildly so. I scramble letters. From becomes form.
@Afterlife
It’s incredible hard at times.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
This is me with talking. Sometimes I think I must look like someone after stroke or with dementia because I can't recall words or I mix them up. The more stress/excitement I feel the worse it gets.
@CrazyMusicLover

Isnt it weird? That’s been my whole life.
