When they leave it..
means they are meant to teach you something about yourself and that their roll was fullfilled ...what you learn from it is up to you...

It's not external circumstances that control it ...it's your mindset ...you have control over that

Nothing is accidental.....it's all meant to teach us something about ourselves

I think I've had enough of the getting taught/learning things... just joking, but I get what you mean. I'm not sure about it being something meant to be, but I agree with the overall premise.
