Meaning and Purpose
Hello friends. I wish all of you a Happy Holiday season and to remind you that each one of you is valued, appreciated, and admired in so many ways. The human mind is a treasure isn’t it? The invention and craftsmanship of the human hand is truly impressive.
Then human to human dynamics. There is one who tells someone what to do, and the other one does it. But really, I don’t think anyone likes to be told what to do. People look at the advantages and disadvantages to every action they take. Human to human relationships can indeed be very challenging.
Sensation, our five senses. The ability to see, smell, taste, hear, and feel. Sentience. Is sentience “matter gone wrong” because this is precisely what makes being human challenging? Our default selfishness. Our pleasure measured against the satisfaction of the next. Not to mention power, authority, and submission and the myriad, relative, and many times superficial reasons some get to have their way while other good, kind, well-meaning people don’t.
I think those who came before us worked very hard seeking to give us an experience to enjoy in living life and that is truly honorable.
