Do you know what love is? The deep sense? Can you describe it for me as perceived by your senses?

What is it's color? How does it look? What does it smell like? How does it sound like? How does it feel when you touch it? Can you taste it? What feeling does it invoke? How can you tell it's love? What makes it distinct from other feelings?

One of Life's burning questions...

Love is easy for me, as it should be.
I have so much of it, from the people in my life, to the people in my life. Family.
My wife. When i look at her, any moment, anytime of day or night, she exudes love for me, to me. My love for her is as infinite as space and the universe. Love looks like her.
Love smells like TRÉSOR.
She dabs a little behind her ears, on her neck, her cleavage and smiles as I inhale her heavenly fragrance.
Love feels like eternal warmth. Silk. So soft and inviting, like when I touch her face, her lips, her beautiful hair, her breasts... and I know there is a God, because nothing on earth, feels so good.
Love taste like chocolate, so rich and decadent that you actually feel guilty from it's pleasure. Cheesecake, or German chocolate,
As long as she's the one who makes it.
Love makes you close your eyes and your mind dances with pleasure that you question it's reality. How can this feel so good? Taste so good? Nothing can ever compare.
And in that moment of questioning, you ask yourself, how do you know when it's love?
The answer comes in the form of her smile, her eyes sparkling when she looks at you, and says, "After 35 years, I'm more in love with you today, than the day I married you."
That's when you know it's Love.

Feeling love, is like a Rollercoaster ride.
Whith so many ups and downs and adrenaline rushes, that you're tummy goes
all quivery. Butterflies and flip-flops, and warmth. Like the Montana summer sunshine on your skin as you bask in it's summer glow.
It' s so subtle sometimes, you might not know that it's hit you. Crept up on you like the ghost of a loved one, gone but never forgotten. Grabbing ahold of your heart and squeezing until you feel you can't breathe.
And you know. You just know. It's so distinct that you don't even have to question.
Love is the smile of your children and grandchildren, when they look at you and smile and say , "I love you Dad."
And the word "Papa!" When you open the door and see them beaming and demanding your hug.
You can love places, you can love things, you can recite words from your heart, as you exchange vows and rings.
Love is the color purple. A grape plucked fresh from your vine. So deep and vibrant, succulent and has memories of a place and time, forever embedded your heart and dreams, that its become a part of you.

Love takes your breath. It leaves your heart pounding, and you have no idea why. Love is questioned, and it shouldn't be. Just experience it. Cherish it. Embrace it with your full heart and soul.
Love Is...
That's my take on it anyways, you have to go out and find it. Be passionate about it. Hell, be desperate. Because it's our reason for existing. Our reason to live.
I'm forever, 💯 % prime time, in love with Her. She's one of the good one's, and she's all mine.

@Casheyane Thank you 😊. I just came off a 12 hour night shift and was unwinding with a whiskey, when i came across your post. I felt compelled to write a in depth reply because love can be so deep, and hard to comprehend. 🤗💞😎

I don't know. I think everyone perceives it differently. For me, love compels me to do stuff for my favorite people. Sacrificing a part of my own comfort for their happiness. So it can make me tired. But a happy kind of tired. It's a sweet and rewarding tiredness. Love feels like the satisfaction of having had a productive day after doing things for them. Love feels like relief and good sleep. Love feels like no more nightmares. It feels like security. It feels like hope. It feels like a throbbing heartbeat. It feels like life.
If I didn't have people to love I'd have killed myself a long time ago.
I have an imagination.
It is calm, can change color as per your perceptions coz it merges within the beloved, spreads calmness, warmth and peace -. be it from any distance. It is soothening enough that all rage, wrath vanishes in its presence.

Feels like.. long awaited warmth, safety, trust, laughter, and non-problematic desire. It’s balanced.

Other than that I think it really depends on the relationship.
