I Suffer From Maladaptive Daydreaming [Daydreaming]

Hi friends. Yesterday i write about my trigger to MD. Today I'm sharing about how I control it. I didn't take the control for 100% but I'm able to avoid it.

* I made myself busy. I do anything that I love.
* I talk to myself. This is not the MD. It's more about reality. I talked to myself like "Hey, where did I put my pencil?" , "come on, I'm in reality!" or "Focus Anne!! Please focus. Oh, carrot!" . Lol .
This will make us focus and deep in what we are doing. The rule is, talk about reality r anything you are working on. Talking to yourself is a sign you're a genius. But, please don't overdo it because people will get annoyed with you.
* I take care of my sleep habits. When my habits suck, the MD came by.
* If there is a trigger to turn on MD, then there is a trigger to turn it off. I clap to snap myself. PAP . Then I talked to myself or talk to people.

^_^ Share with us what did you do to avoid MD??

Great story, thank you! You've given me another good reason to try to sort out my sleep habits too! :) I never really thought about what I do to avoid MD.. I guess I do keep myself busy to avoid MD. Unfortunately tough, most of the time I forget to! I'm not very good at avoiding it, and often drift off into daydreams even while Im trying to do stuff. I definitely know it'd help if I talked to people.

You're right. Sometimes I forgot to avoid it because MD has been part of my daily routine. The worse of it is they just walked in.

I agree with you. Meditation helps a lot and it actually made me stronger to avoid it. It made me feel real.
