Have you experienced the feeling of being lost, confused and unmotivated to do anything but cannot figure out why?

Lately I feel that I just want to lay in bed and sleep. I don't want to do the things which I used to enjoy or be happy with what I got. I don't know if I am having an identity or mindset crisis or is this a phase of life we go through once as we grow older and realise I am not the same person as yesterday.

To an extent, yes. But I'm still always happy and motivated to get out of bed. Mine was in large part due to a heartbreak.

I also think it's a natural part of living in this humanhood. I also feel it's partly the aging process, (60plus) and all the subsequent losses we endure, hormonal, the chaos and unrest of the world we live in....

Exercise, fresh air and nature is healing though and can revive! ☀

@Magenta im soo sorry for your heartbreak. It must have been really hard on you. I hope you are recovered. Sunshine and fresh does certainly help.

@Philasefer Thank you, very thoughtful of you.

Hopefully you find a spark and some motivation or something that renews you a bit. ✨

@Magenta same with you. Does this site help?

@Philasefer It can help in the way that I can post and share things that are cathartic for me. And a friend that I communicate with.

But more times than not it makes it worse here. Depending on the day and what's the theme.

Does it make it better for you?

@Philasefer i can't stress enough how exercise will help. Exercise hard enough that all those feel good chemicals flood your body..
