I Am Chantou, These Are My Thoughts [These Are My Thoughts]

FIGHTING FOR YOUR DIGNITY

Fighting for your dignity even since you were a child
Trying to make them see you exist although the wild
Wrongly getting their priority of life straight
Getting a buzz for them seemed to be the only thing great

Suffering alone is this small place so cold
How could they never see you have such a heart of gold
Shattered and scared, you grew up alone
In a broken world of grown up always stone

Darkness selfishly calling your soul
Giving you the illusion you can’t have any goal
Raging storms within your mind
Hiding your tears as you can’t be find

Although the pain, you stood up tall
Took your life and ran away from it all
Changed the path of your own destiny
Working hard so you could finally be

Sadly lightening once more struck
Which, you like to call your bad luck
Your dreams and hope left your head
Forbidding yourself to wish for a better life ahead

Demons always messing with your conscience
The second you get into a moment of silence
You see them, their coming your way
You try to scream, to make them go away

Blossomed into an amazing woman
strength and wisdom is in your hand
Proud of who you've become you can be
You are blessed by Angels anyone can see

Loneliness was always part of who you were
Now I’m giving you my hand to make you feel safer
Real family by my side now you can count on
Together there is nothing we can’t overcome

Anything you want in life you can achieve
Step by step, I'll teach you how to believe
Every step of the way I’ll stand beside you
Cause now and forever I’m in love with you

Thank you, yes I can describe pretty much. Although many can also relate.

Lovely poem yet so sad. You tell her story very well.

Reminds me of a quote:
I speak not for myself but for those without voice... those who have fought for their rights... their right to live in peace, their right to be treated with dignity, their right to equality of opportunity, their right to be educated.
