The right to be

We all have in us this bright hope of one day becoming someone
to finally find this soul mate that is only meant for us
to benefit uncommon longevity or simply to be happy in life

Each pursues a different dream, the ultimate goal for all varies greatly
In order to access it, we all need to know to accept ourselves as we are
and undeniably for our own sanity allow us the right to wish.

Too often, the happiness of others comes before ours
And no questions asked, nor arguments, we agree quickly
at the request of others even if it means for us to be forgotten more often than otherwise

What would happen if for once we would pass our own selves before anyone else?
If for a moment in time, our future mattered more than their own?
If we allowed one another to also dream of a better future?

We all seek that person that will complete us better than anyone
that will make our heart beat like a piece of Symphony and who will give us wings
The way to get it is to afford ourselves the right to be happy

Perfect jobs takes us to heart, prosperity, safety...
again we must allow us the power to access it
Our destiny belong to us, we are solely responsible for it
we need to start trusting our own souls, believe in multiple possibilities
allow our heart to be prioritized, especially grant us the right to dream
because without the dreams, life would not be a reality
