I've been crying on and off at work all day

Part depression, part period hormones.

I'm re-reading The Witches of Eastwick for the millionth time, and it's amazing how I come away with a new insight into the book (and life) after each read. I believe it can be classified among my top 5 favorite novels of all time. I also recently purchased its sequel, The Widows of Eastwick, and plan to read that next.

I pray this work day ends soon. I'm sick of this place, these people, and the endless conversations with rude, simple-minded people who have more money than brains. My very life is toxic.

I’ve got to read that. I’ve heard it’s one of his best.

Just ask yourself what our Dearly Beloved Ambellina would do. Then do something else.

I have re-read so many books that have destroyed me time and time again.

Just reading your comment, sorry to hear you are working in such a stressful environment.
I loved the film, is the book as good?

@ToulouseT the movie (which I love) is like an exaggerated comedic version of the book. The book is much more serious and deep. However, the character played by Jack Nicholson in the movie is EXACTLY the same in the book, so Nicholson must have read the book to prepare for the role.
