An attempt to describe my trinity of interests
Each are self contained progressions, an ongoingness that means finding new material to enshrine as what the self deems worthy of admiration and praise. This post will be continuously updated to achieve as crystallized and flawless execution of what I mean as possible within the time frame of 2026 to sometime in the 2030's.
Books — represents the beginning and going all the way through the life stages books are like what the Father is to another Trinity … the focal and direction will be described as I find the words
Independent thought — not as it’s caricatured
Enriching perspectives — not just what you already agree with
Addressing peripherally the issues being dealt with
Books shall be consumed in solitude, for a grasp of them that I have not yet acquired is required for me to talk about them if at all.
Music — represents what came before the beginning and this goes through the temporal plane as books but of a lightier as is The Holy Spirit
Classical including all periods before the actual birth of the classical style and all subsequent genres up to modern forms
World music — folk from a global range
Pop — everything that’s popular that for me usually pops and sounds so fresh and exciting
Films — this is the life of human beings situated in time and place for the most part, which is mostly devoted to directors as the author of it. USA imo rose as high as anywhere else in the silent era, and up to lesser and lesser degrees with each successive decade this is simply how I see it, but incredible films are aplenty I’ve not yet tried out, like The Son Film represents Life that dies not as long as it’s preserved best to own it but for me as I have no one I’d pass them down to, it doesn’t matter anymore to own them.
There is no limitations to the kinds of stories told, what feels unique and genuine describes mostly what I recognize as great.
For sure though you need that which you can turn your mind off to, those for me must be a rarity, what is most acclaimed by the masses is for me to be rarely seen. I elevate the actual rarities to common. And reduce the actual common to seldom tried.
