Audible can be so stupid

So I entered a little challenge a few days ago where I must complete 4 books in 5 months but much to my surprise a couple samples I listened to counted as 2!!

My personal challenge is no less than 4 completions per month, but May might see less than that as I have around 10 i'm currently going through.

In other news some old friends, or relatives called asking for dad's number and address so I gave that info, they had called and left a voicemail earlier, but I don't know my voicemail password!! So I could tell they were relieved I answered, and then I went the extra mile and called dad, this was the 1st time I ever called him, and he heard from the people that called me, and is encouraged by these visits but very much down in the dumps, he feels like he has no value as a human being, a prisoner there, and he demonizes my brother, who I know very well that he's the glue keeping this part of the family together, but dad sees him in the same league as the German Fuhrer of the 2nd world war.

I ate some soup without a spoon just now, I can't find any of my spoons!! and some Lindt chocolates. My vodka has about 15 sips left, I didn't puke from last session, hooray!!

The Shards by Bret Easton Ellis has a lot of gay content, very graphic, but I guess it's like a book versions of those racy Fassbinder films like Fox and His Friends etc. I will be savoring it most when the scares come through. His whole schtick is showing vibrantly empty vapid lives of the youth, and I may be getting all his books on audio format, there's a spirited quality his prose has.

The narrator of The Shining is truly monotonous, I saw the reviews saying that and I still got it, listened to the beginning of it, and sure enough, it's as dull as C-Pac. It would be funny if it was more like Tupac though hehe

Take care peoples, if I don't do much here for awhile it's because i'm swimming in a vast ocean of stuff. If I tried to act like a normal member i'd perhaps drown and be stuck with the remains of a shipping vessel from the antediluvian era.
