Just gonna mention what I've been watching, cuz it's interesting stuff!!

It started with watching some interviews of my favorite thinkers E.M. Cioran, but I rather read him than watch him talk. So I then checked out the latest Nightmare Movies video, that talked about a movie you can see on YouTube, I almost posted it, but here I'll just mention it because it could be too much for some, and for sure I wouldn't be able to watch it all, Nightmare Movies videos spoil them for you so it's like watching the movie in condensed form, it's called PVC-1, and it's based on a true crime case, that I guess still goes unsolved to this day, about some gang members in Columbia break into a home and demand money, and when the poor family can't pay up, they put a 2 piece bomb on one of the family member's neck, and then they leave with dire warnings. Oh I can't tell anymore, but if you want a jolt of a movie experience you know what it's called now.

So that brings me to the other major topic of videos, a whole bunch of videos dealing mostly with the iconic grunge guy Kurt Cobain, and his tortured life of tummy aches and drug addiction, his self loathing, his uncle and other family member who offed themselves, and with a back story like that, and so on, the little tidbit of how he was very nervous before doing the Unplugged performance, and how well it turned out, but also bad performances, the last one I tested out earlier, and someone else's last performance, an artist I heard about but never listened to before Amy Winehouse, what a heartbreaking thing that would be for her fans, because I a person who never tried her music out felt my heart break having learned a little back story how her love interest was a major drug addict. The horn section on that first number was really good though, catchy!!

So it's been an eclectic night, and Kurt's story is touching, Nirvana wasn't my favorite band but I really dug them, for they were at the epicenter of the whole music scene that I was most into back then. Back then I gave much thought to the 27 club with Jim, Jimi and Janis being the main ones, I always thought Kurt was out of his league with those larger than life stars, but I want to give him credit for that attitude that came from a not so well place, I gravitate to those kinds of things, tragic figures like Fassbinder, and the generous helpings of examples of a kind hearted person who made some good points, maybe even prescient and needed points that indicated a potential for authenticity, and genuineness.

There's so many interesting things that have many videos devoted to them, it's nice to while away a whole night just aimlessly browsing those things, but oh so tired now, stretching out in the bed will feel better than the real thing .....;)
