9am -- I just got up, it's so windy out it sounds like a blizzard, but no snowing as of yet. I change my mind about going for a walk today, today all I wanna do is drink coffee, and listen to audiobooks, smoke the rest of my weed and have another grocery order delivered. My brother wants me to spend no more than 40 dollars on groceries before my monthly funds comes in since prior to yesterday I said to him i'd get by, so he's giving me a test, he's a smart cookie he is, and he's gonna be surprised a little when I prove to him that I can indeed control my spending, which will also surprise me!!
Now I did spend 8 dollars and 21 cents on George Grote's The History of Greece last night, and for today's grocery order I will need to get coffee which if it's still on sale will still be 17 dollars, meaning I need to get just a few really cheap meals, it's just 4 days till my monthly funds come in, so I don't really need anymore meals what I would need rather is some smaller bowls and a can opener, my present can opener does not function smoothly, and makes me swear whenever I use it, yeah so that's the plan for today.
I loved yesterday's audiobook extravaganza, 80% of that and 20% of reading with the eyes.
I see someone replied to one of my posts, mentioning z library. I have thousands of books from there, and it's current iteration Anna's Archive, I usually don't like to name those places because i'm afraid by being vocal about it, the opportunity to use them will vanish. The reason why it's not a perfect fit for me is how for many of the non-fiction volumes I prefer to get, the footnotes aren't functional on them. Footnotes are terribly important in them books I lust after with a high pricetag.
Well I'll just post this, then I'll go downstairs, make my coffee and get started on a long and fun day with all my books, and all you lovely people here.
