Do we really change, or do we just get better at hiding who we are?

I’ve been thinking about this a lot. People say time changes you, but I feel like the core of who I am is still the same. I’ve just learned which parts to show to whom. Do you think people genuinely change over time, or do we just adapt to different situations? Curious to hear your perspectives.

I think we change the way a building changes when you ad on to it. It's different but you can tell it's the same building.
