Do we really change, or do we just get better at hiding who we are?

I’ve been thinking about this a lot. People say time changes you, but I feel like the core of who I am is still the same. I’ve just learned which parts to show to whom. Do you think people genuinely change over time, or do we just adapt to different situations? Curious to hear your perspectives.

It's going to look different for everyone. Some change in superficial ways some change perspectives which can change them . Some evolve some de-evolve

@chernobylplaygr0unds yeah that's true. i guess the hard part is you don't always know which one you're doing until way after. like you think you're evolving but later you look back and realize you weren't
