Just a thought..
If everyone is running washing machines and thousands of gallons of detergents are flowing down the drain ,how long before the ground water is contaminated with detergent..?

@romell I don't think water can escape the filters, as its all piped.
Not that im a waste water specialist, although we do have one on SW.
I think the biggest danger to filtration plants is ironically, rainfall - it can overload the system.
And of course, there are many and varied types and qualities of filtration plants.
I think the japanese have such an advanced system they recycle something like 97% of all their water.
Not that we are all as efficient as them🤷♀

We basically live in one huge aquarium.
We have finite resources.
We are 21st century humans - we should be way better at this than we are.
I think, (and i could be wrong), our biggest dangers to the worlds water is untreated sewerage and agriculture run off, (fertilizers and shit). Too many large corporations and unregilated factories jist let their waste run into rivers. 🫤

@romell yeah, i did a bit of a dive into world ecconomies a few years back. At the time, there was the war on fuels, then it was information....and the projection after that was going to be food and water supplies.
Which is nothing but a confirmation of just hiw fucked up our governments and industry heads have been and are.
We should already be in a place where we are feeding everyone. There shouldn't be such things as famine and malnutrition.
But we are a greedy, greedy species.
