I got sidetracked for day 5 of my reading plan

And am deciding to only post in my group when I finish a book, and there may be some non-fiction in there as well, for I feel I might need someone or more in book format telling me straightforward how things be.

There is to be at least one movie day per week I feel, I saw 2 yesterday that were like Sweet thunderbolts of bliss, the 2nd was King Lear by Jean-Luc Godard, I was expecting it not to be that great, as his late work is very different, but I found a very sweetly sad meditation on living in a broken world, and reimagining culture and meaning in the war zone of the present.

And as a nice little capstone to my movie day watched Jodie Foster's Criterion Closet picks, she is amazing, and I loved the films she picked, and her memories of her mom who always wanted to travel and brought her daughter to foreign films all the time in order to travel, that is how I saw it, travelling by way of cinema.

When it comes to talking about books or movies, I think I can talk about movies better, but still not that good .... just mediocre all round, and I am ok with that, as long as I can have an immediate thrill of these things I choose to spend time with, is more than enough, and I am unworthy of the lovely things that are there to be enjoyed.
