Having an online school of sorts

I won't be posting about everything I come across, it would be 10 times more exhausting if I did, what I will share most likely are names of people or events that can be further explored in YT videos for starters, but many of the things being tackled are of a nature I may not feel like talking about before I have a better grasp of it, for example one of the courses i've stuck my head in is called The Middle East in the 20th Century, figures and groups could be exploited in a post, but I sense that people generally have strong opinions about such things, and merely bringing it up with a less than appropriate tact would cause unnecessary conflict even if no one comments, it's already done the damage by being uttered in such a wrongfully boisterous manner.

This is exciting for me, when I was collecting films I would also not just be thinking of films to get but educational material on DVD, I managed to get a few things but not much, the most extensive was a Joseph Campbell series, another was a Sartre doc, and a Nietzsche lecture.

Now however I am face to face with so much, why didn't I seek out such stuff earlier? Well I was locked into the ecosystem of certain services and didn't stray out of them too much, I like a good virtual home to rest and play in, and indeed The Great Courses Plus is my new abode, strictly for learning, and SW for expressing, what comes in -- learning must be way more than the output -- expressing.

If I express poorly and offend anyone, please take into consideration that i'm enthusiastic about the material before having a good grasp of it. Hopefully by this time next year I will be able to express much better, conveying that I at least understand some of the implications of what is being uttered.
