Refining my plan

This is called a plan because I can't think of a better word yet, it is supposed to act as a flotation device, as if reality was the ocean, and not knowing how to swim, and even if I did know how to swim, it's a whole effin' ocean, and swimming would just be tiring before any land is seen.

So I keep thinking of things as these flotation devices, always they be books, films and shows.

Let me try to break it down

1. The Criterion Channel is my premier film source, where I can see the kinds of films I prize the most.

2. The Dark Tower -- my childhood author fave is to be enjoyed as the first in a hopefully long string of reading all the way through the 5,000 plus books I have at my disposal, yet, numbering it all is pointless, as I have a source which can get me most of anything I may need, and as you journey forth you will discover the things you need that you didn't know of before, for example there's a sci-fi trilogy from China that I will be getting to, The Three Body Problem is one of the entries of it.

3. Twin Peaks -- another childhood fave, but when I say childhood I mean early mid teens, before the age of something like 15 or so I don't think I ever committed to anything that took over 5 minutes to do. I might start this show tonight!! And i've never finished the 2017 The Return yet, being alone makes this possible to enjoy.

4. The Sopranos -- yet again I never finished it, but I think I had the ending spoiled for me, anyway it's iconic, like everything listed here.

5. Breaking Bad -- I have to find all those slim cases that came as individual season, each season had 2 except for season 5 which was longer. I did finish this, and it was amazing, it took me to the edge and would like to revisit this year if not 2027. You see it's already 2026 for me on December 23.

6. Better Call Saul -- I think I need to get the last season still, but I surely love this one. For one month I could subscribe to Netflix and watch El Camino and anything else there that I like, like BoJack Horseman, which is what I always see as Netflix's greatest show.

7. In Search of Lost Time -- Marcel Proust's major work, which I also have the audiobooks for too.

This is just the beginning as I can see or fathom it now, there's many other books, for example the works of Clarice Lispector. So many things collected over the years, these days are the beginning of "covering" what I can before I die. It is supposed to be my favorite time of my whole life.

And I plan on writing not too much but sometimes about my Journey of mini-journeys. I am LEANING into these things more than how people would when they are just meant to pass the time, these things for me will take the place of time!!
