Getting older means realizing how many things you did for the last time ever without knowing it. Thoughts?

@Musicman im waiting for a hip replacement but they have said i have a high chance of dying if i have the op, so not sure what to do....

@Platinum Why is there a high chance of you dying? I need a total left shoulder replacement surgery. The doctor says the replacements only last 10 to 15 years. He doesn't want to do the operation twice so he would like me to wait until I am 70.

@Musicman my heart is a bit dodgy, so could bleed to death .....

@Musicman no...just need a walking frame to get about...i can drive and go out with friends for meals...can take dog out on my mobility scooter ...just a bit of pain
