Why black Americans feel nothing for Charlie kirk

He was a major criticizer of dei and often suggested that many, if not all, black people got jobs they didn't earn along with other things. He hates Martin Luther King Jr. and subscribed to the great white replacement theory. The reason I'm posting these things is mainly because the right is trying to turn him into a martyr to justify right winged retaliatory violence.

White on white crime.

@HoeBag I think there's some black conservatives who would lose their base if they spoke honestly. When you're an influencer who depends on others for money 💰 you can't be disagreeing like that. When I first wrote about Kirk I wasn't insulting him. I just said that I couldn't grieve in the way people wanted me too and I know just by how people reacted to something like that, that black influencers who are conservative wouldn't stick their necks out like that.

I dunno how they're conservative or how they can say on social media that kirk was a champion of their civil rights but my best guess is they have an identity for money to maintain so that's about it. Unless they want to work at Burger King cos they gonna lose all that money if they disagreed.
If all this is true (and I'm not disputing your comments), why was it that a white guy killed him? What was the motive?

@jackieash

The motive wasn't disclosed.

Hypothetically speaking and based on my limited experience moderating an American forum, there are extremists that would target other extremists in the US because they have different beliefs. I have seen far rightists lightly talking about shooting and killing other far rightists for differences in foreign policy, views about the Epstein....etc Even extremism isn't homogeneous just like elsewhere.

My father was an extremist and we were targeted by extremists for the silliest reasons too. From accusations of "affairs" to anything else you can think of, really. Everyday nonesense.

We can all only make assumptions.

@Miram Thats a good take, there's been a lot of rumors so I'll have to see. I can't really speak on motive until I know more. The shooter's grandmother said that the whole family is maga basically but who knows.

Yes, we can't really decide someone's political affiliations based on someone else's claims. Especially these days where many are more themselves online than offline.

I don't really think it matters why he did it because ultimately nothing will be done to address the problem at the group level.
