The ole what i got kind of post
So yesterday my pension came in and i got a few more translations of Plato's Republic, i tried to get them all on Kobo, but a couple could only be gotten on Kindle.
You see i did about an intense half hour search for best translations, a good fellow on reddit gave a link to a highly distinguished article, or paper on recent ones, and that was like my guide.

3. Desmond Lee for the Penguin edition
4. Robin Waterfield
5. Grube in the complete works
6. Reeve who had revised Grube's his latest one
7. and Joe Sachs!!
7 translations of The Republic, plus the audio for it twice with Bloom and Jowett, the latter starring David Rintoul who did a whole series for Ukemi audiobooks which are all on YouTube!!
Dad's asleep beside me in a sitting position, i had to give him one of my pills last night for he had gone without sleep night after night, it's funny ya know, he says they gave him the same sleeping pill i have and he did sleep the first couple nights with what they give but then nuttin'!! Back to the only mine work dynamic, ..... but as long as i have gummies my use of my sleeping pills is relaxed so i can handle it.
The guy might be coming today or another day to finish off the backyard with the shed, dad wanted it all cleaned up before he gets here but is just too weak and out of it to do anything, he's a workaholic so when he decides to just laze around like i do, it's serious!!
