Solace to me is being alone in front of my laptop writing poetry and short stories.

To be at home. Alone. In my own little world where everything is calm and quiet...

Nature. Laughter. Self care. It reminds me I'm small and integral, that life is silly, and that I deserve to live and be loved.

Being alone in my Jeep listening to music, being alone just off trail on my favourite hikes.

Deep in the autumn/early winter wildnerness cutting firewood.
It's where I prefer to die.
