After a good sleep ...
I keep thinking of my last post which exhibited some antisocial leanings, and it's true. It's all a conundrum when you look at it all together.
We focus all our energies on certain parts but when we look at the whole thing, it looks like a blanket sown by an epilectic.
I want this post to potentially be me signing off for a little while, not just the getting ready for church thing, but with my 2 nefarious playlists i see myself having reached a goal.
Now the movies are not quite at 200 yet, but here's the deal with that, i want to eventually only have films i love in that list and it doesn't matter how many there are, and after a time i will select a film of the day, maybe beginning in November, i will be a small time volunteer film festival programmer for you guys.
Even though i'm antisocial, i do from the bottom of my heart treasure the people i've come across here and across the world wide web. I've even private messaged some idols, like my top 3 booktubers!! But i don't anymore, it's like i checked them off the list so to speak.
Similar Worlds is different, there's such a seemingly infinite measure of acceptance here, of anything goes, given the obvious, because this ain't no utopia. But i just want to give some much deserved thanks to the good community here, the folks who were kind and stuff. I hope i never did anyone wrong lately. My track record isn't spotless, but i have been forgiven in the past.
Have a great spooky season, watch some scary fun movies, watch some classic auteur cinema, like Antonioni, Bergman, Cassavetes, Dreyer, Eisenstein, Fassbinder, Godard, Herzog, Kurosawa, Mizoguchi, Naruse, Ozu, Pasolini, Renoir, and so on.
