In the musical soundsphere a wake period thus contains the following:
1. Mozart is the composer as the Sun to the wake period, the rays of shine from his works is fitting.
2. a concerto grossi from the Baroque period
3. An opera with Maria Callas in it
4. Beethoven late works of piano sonatas and string quartets -- Ludwig is when the lights go on when the Mozart is sinking.
5. Bach organ works paired with that of Buxtehude -- Bach's lightshow organ works are the fireworks after the midnight of the wake period.
In reading material:
1. The Gothic roots of the horror genre
2. A bouquet of the classics, up to 4 of them, they be as unto our multi seasoned show we be watchin', but these are some of the greatest things ever written in the vast and nigh infinite medium of the written word.
3. A bouquet of 5 for non-fiction eg: history, theology, philosophy, poetry
4. A bouquet of 5 for miscellaneous material like the Letters of Alan Watts, it's so cute when it begins when he was a child writing letters to mommy and daddy. In fact this section should be predominated by the LETTERS of such as Petrarch, St. Teresa, Virginia Woolf and so many more getting dusty in my e-library!!
