I think most of us have had that thought at some time. Remember this, we all make a difference, even when we don’t know it. We are each part of the tapestry that affects others, and most of the time we never know it.

I don’t know many people in this place. There was a disabled lady who I’d only met a few times socially, and we were not friends, but occasionally I’d bump into her in the grocery store (pre covid), and we’d stop for a chat. It made a difference to my day, and hopefully it did the same for her. She passed during Covid, and I sometimes think of her, and the difference she made for me in those moments of interaction. It’s the same when I see the schoolchildren pass my window going to and fro to school. It makes a difference, and they will never know. We make a difference to others too. @Sojournersoul
