What are your thoughts on marriage? Is it worth it? Is it truly necessary?

40% of marriages end in divorce. The financial split and payments are devastating. Is it not better to enjoy the single life, have more money and more freedom, have time to yourself, your work and your hobbies and have the opportunity to be with and sleep with multiple people?

Just because you're not married, doesn't mean you'll be having sex all the time.
If you end up dying or inept, it's nice to have someone who genuinely loves and cares about you.
If you're losing half your shit to someone, you're both to blame.
There's no such thing as freedom, we're all bound to die, and experience can only exist within the confines of dimensional law.
I don't think people should get married to have sex. I esp. don't believe in shotgun weddings. Marriage shouldn't be considered holy, but it should be considered sacred. It's a sacred vow.
It's sometimes necessary, it depends on the situation.
I think it's a personal choice, and it really doesn't matter what other people think, because ultimately you'll have to live with it.
